Course Photography

People playing the course
Tee shots, putting, laughing with playing partners, golf buggies on fairway.
Why: Sell the fun of visiting the course, the course design and condition of the course.
How: Method 1: Organise 2-3 fourballs made up of current members & their friends to play on the course, while we photograph them. 9 holes would be enough to get a large bank of images.
Method 2: Photography to take place on a busy weekday/weekend when a club wide competition is happening.  Although this method takes a full day, and might not capture a full range of different target markets. (age/sex/golf handicap)
Drone shots
What: Wide shots showing off vast course space and routing. Beauty shots of the best holes, features and lakes, best views. Shot of the clubhouse.
Why: Show off the course in a angle rarely seen. Eye catching imagery that stands out online, professional looking and a beautiful way to showcase course, design & condition especially fairways and features.
How: Photography to take place on a sunny day, early morning to capture low sun and shadows that will bring the course to life. Less busy day ideal so not to disturb golfers playing.

Hero Imagery
What:
The best angles of greens, course designs, bunkering, views from tee boxes and on course.
Why:
Sells the dream of playing at the course in one image at a time. Main images for website banners, eye catching instagram posts.
How: Captured alongside playing course shoot, or while on a drone shoot. Best on an ideal summers day. Photographer to play the course before shoot to reccy course and find the angles before shoot.
